Can Domestic Violence be stopped? I believe so, if not, I wouldn't be writing this. What most people simply do not understand is that abusive relationships are very easy to get into and very, very hard and in some cases impossible to get out of!!! These relationships not only take a toll on the victim, but also their family, friends and co-workers.
So, think about it... If you knew someone who had physically abused someone in a prior relationship, would you date him/her? If you knew that someone had given their spouse, mate or date, a black eye, a busted lip or broken a bone or two, would you date, get engaged or married to this person? Would you introduce them to one of your friends, cousins and/or co-workers?
The answer: Absolutely NOT!!!!
This is exactly why The Weaker Vessel, Inc. was created. Instead of wading through a mountain of paperwork, we are bringing the paperwork directly to you. Now you can see if the person that wooed you in the beginning will abuse you in the middle or end of the relationship.
