Ever how eloquently the DV Groups and Coalitions articulate their opposition. It boils down to:
No VICTIMS, No FUNDING, No JOBS!!!!
What they don't realize is that the very imformation that they're opposed to placing on the internet is already on the internet! Their OPPOSITION to CA AB 1771 is one of weakness and disgrace. These are the individuals that are supposed to care about the victims. They attend seminars to better educate themselves all in the name of helping victims. They should want this bill passed. What we need to do is call for an investigation to review how they're spending their grant monies and on what.
THE END OF THE MATTER IS THIS:
There is a database out there that is up and running and available to the public. It offers the same information that is OPPOSED by California DV Groups and Coalitions.
